I recently took a business contact to the Gloucester Old Spot for lunch and it was great. Despite just being on the outskirts of Cheltenham, the Old Spot really has a feel of a great country pub. The Old Spot has a dining room, but we chose to sit in the bar. The menu is excellent and we struggled to make a selection, but opted in the end for one of the specials. The food was great (think Bistro more than pub grub) and the service welcoming and attentive. We will be back
