The Goring Lounge Bar
The Goring Hotel, Beeston Place, Grosvenor Gardens, London, SW1W 0JW
A statement in luxury and with a history dating back to 1910, the Goring Lounge bar, is an opulent and quiet haven that is located adjacent to Buckingham Palace, within walking distance of the Royal parks and surrounded by some of London's many famous landmarks. With a colonial understated grandeur, patrons are treated to authentic British fare that is sourced from local produce and which can be enjoyed in relaxed, comfortable surroundings. The food is scrumptious, with Chef Derek Quelch serving the best of English classics, such as steak and kidney pudding, smoked Scottish salmon, poached baby Suffolk chicken with root vegetables and celery broth, as well as forgotten British dishes like Peterhead cod and chips with peas; and lobster thermidor omelette.A statement in luxury and with a history dating back to 1910, the Goring Lounge bar, is an opulent and quiet haven that is located adjacent to Buckingham Palace, within walking distance of the Royal parks and surrounded by some of London's many famous landmarks.
