We eat there regularly and it is always great. Although it is really fish orientated, my husband doesn't actually like fish. So, you can get a good alternative but for me it's the specials board which always lives up to its name. All the food is fresh and the menu is forever changing and really innovative eg., the smoked salmon starter was excellent. It has a nice rustic relaxing atmosphere, great wine list, good service. Maybe the puddings are a little disappointing and they should buy better bread rolls from a deli but on the whole on of the best restaurants in the area.

Who would think that in Lincolnshire (a coastal county famed for its fishing ports) one would have to look so hard for a good fish restaurant? Our search took us on over an hours drive to THE GRANARY and let me assure you it was most rewarding.

Our pre-booked party of four was greeted warmly and made to feel comfortable in the lovely quirky (converted Granary) surroundings. The hostess took her time in taking us through the 'board menu' with knowledgeable and mouth-watering descriptions of chef’s courses.

The dining was a lovely experience, the food exquisite and it made a pleasant change for a waitress to know her wine menu. Top marks to chef for a superb fish soup entree and the Fresh Sea Trout was delectable. Our personal rating ****
