The Green in Clerkenwell is a refreshingly pleasant bar and restaurant located a couple of minutes walk from the bustle of Farringdon, where you can drop by for a relaxed lunch with friends in a casual and unhurried atmosphere. Parties and small weddings are welcomed in the first floor restaurant and the food is undeniably one of their biggest draws. The emphasis is on fresh, seasonal produce, fish and meat and the modern European and English menu incorporates them into delicious classics and interesting innovations.

Sample dishes include the seared scallop and squid ink linguini starter, with a main course of Barnsley lamb chop, cannellini beans and salsa verde from the daily changing a la carte menu.
