The Greyhound Inn
26 High Street, Sydling St Nicholas, Dorchester, DT2 9PD
A beautiful 18th century coaching Inn, The Greyhound is set in the heart of the picturesque village of Sydling St Nicholas, close to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The inn has an old world charm and character, visible in the exposed brick walls, wooden furniture, wooden beamed ceiling, frames and lanterns adorning the walls and a fireplace at one end. With many other local attractions, the place is cherished by tourists and locals for its fresh and wholesome English food. The restaurant fare consists of many traditional dishes of sea trout fillet with roasted red pepper, saffron and mussel bisque; meat platter of Parma ham, chorizo and beef bresola with wild rocket and parmesan salad; and rib-eye of beef with roasted vine tomato, field mushroom and sauce béarnaise.A beautiful 18th century coaching Inn, The Greyhound is set in the heart of the picturesque village of Sydling St Nicholas, close to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
