I had a fabulous meal there. It was a spur of the moment, and very pleased we did. They have an excellent wine list and extremely helpful staff. The food is far beyond what we expected. The nifty little amuse bouche was very good, well cooked and with excellent presentation. The type of meal I would expect to pay a lot more for, and at a level that way surpassed the rural setting.

Whilst stopping in Exeter on business, I ate out one night at the Jack in the Green Inn and was extremely glad I did. The service was good, with every staff member being polite and helpful. I plumped for the fish pie which was exceptional, everything was freshly prepared and presented, even down to the garlic bread I had as a side order. Ok, so the prices are slightly higher than the norm but definitely worth it.
