The Jam Tree - Kensington

58 Milson Road, London, W14 0LB

The Jam Tree, split across three levels, is perfect for relaxed lunches, after work drinks or private dinner parties. The interior is a unique blend of modish décor and antique mismatched furniture. The copper bar top is the focal point of the main dining area whilst old fashioned science lab benches complete the look with Bunsen burner taps. The menu, designed by James Browne of The Settle Inn, Aquum, and The Well, offers great British dishes with colonial favourites from Malaysia, South Africa and India. You could expect the likes of Malaysian laksa - spicy noodle soup - with chicken or vegetables, salt marsh lamb rump with peas and broad beans, minted Jersey royals and pan juices or chicken Madras served with naan, channa dal and fragrant rice.

The final course is no less global, opening with the South African malva pudding.

REVIEWS OF The Jam Tree - Kensington

Sue (4 October 2010)

We came down to London for the weekend and went for lunch, it exceeded our expectations! Food was fabulous, and the atmosphere was relaxed. It's a pity it’s not closer or we would definitely be there on a regular basis!

Nadia Walford (11 June 2010)

At last, a fantastic new addition to Kensington, The Jam Tree - just what we’ve all been waiting for! Great food (I’d recommend the scallops), buzzy atmosphere, and good service. Plus the decor is super cool. Will definitely be making this place a regular.
