REVIEWS OF The Jersey Bar & Grill
J M (4 January 2010)
We had not been to the Jersey Arms for several years, but it does not disappoint. Our lunch was excellent, wonderful fish pie and my wife loved her slow roasted pork. It is warm, friendly and clean. Thank you all.
Ann Porteous (22 March 2009)
Having chosen a hotel that was conveniently situated for my daughter and her two young children together with two sets of grandparents to meet up for Mother’s Day and which had billed itself as child-friendly; I was very disappointed at the unfriendliness of the people in charge. There was a lot of huffing and puffing from the more senior waitress when serving us our food and everything seemed too much of an effort which made us feel very unwelcome. Although the situation of the hotel was ideal I would look for another restaurant in that area for our next Mother's Day. When saying our goodbyes to the owner at the end we were greeted with a grunt or just ignored. The food was adequate and possibly good value for money.
