I found this treat whilst travelling through to Taunton having had to get off the motorway early due to M5 traffic. It was about 7pm on a Friday evening and the Restaurant was quite busy but we were still greeted immediately on arrival and seated very quickly. The service was second to none and the bar had a great atmosphere. We ordered the Sizzling steak deal '2 X Rump steak with all the trimmings, including a House bottle of wine for £27.00'! Very good value. They had an extensive wine list (which can be rare these days) and the a la carte menu looked fantastic from 2 courses for £24.00 or 3 for £29.00 both including coffee and truffles. We will be sure to try this menu out on our next visit. All round a fantastic visit and we will be sure to return; who would have thought the M5 traffic could be so rewarding!?
