service.... excellent ( fast , friendly and helpful. food..... good (good choice, quickly cooked and to a good standard). ambience.... lovely ( decor is modern and very comfortable... music is jazzy and not to loud). value for money .... ok ( this is a garden centre restaurant and as such needs to keep there prices fair). bad points... kitchen a little noisey. best bits.... seafood platter and service.

We are regulars here at the Garden Centre - we used to eat in the cafe where the staff are brilliant and the food though simple, is very good. They opened the Lime Tree about six months ago and we are now regulars in the restaurant. The staff know us by name and we like that as it makes us feel welcome. The food is great, the service is very good - you never really have to wait for either drinks or food. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody. It is modern, comfortable and clean. The chefs come out and chat to you, will happily answer any questions you have of the menu. It would be a great place to have a party as it is a large restaurant and contrary to this listing, they do allow groups. All in all, they get a big thumbs up from both me and my wife and a message to Collie Wobble - we will see you hopefully one day for breakfast as I am sure like us, you will not be disappointed.
