The Living Room - Leeds
7 Greek Street, Leeds, LS1 5RW
Across its varied locations in the UK, The Living Room group of restaurants have become synonymous with delicious food in a comfortable atmosphere. Soothing music, a relaxed ambience and typical gastropub fare, aptly named Home Comforts, along with European influences have made this into a popular dining destination regardless of the venue. The execution is simple and the presentation, fantastic, so naturally the overall experience becomes something that you cherish and come to savour. From the á la carte, choose beer battered tiger prawns with a sweet chilli sauce and wasabi or something from the small plates selection which includes honey and mustard glazed baby sausages. Amongst main courses, the steak, ale and mushroom pie vies for attention alongside a rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce and chips and the Belgian waffles with vanilla ice cream qualifies for an exceedingly rich dessert.Across its varied locations in the UK, The Living Room group of restaurants have become synonymous with delicious food in a comfortable atmosphere. REVIEWS OF The Living Room - Leeds
Sara (3 March 2009)
Wow! I loved it. My husband and I like very different food and it is often difficult for us both to really enjoy a meal in the same restaurant but this ticked all the boxes. My husband loved the big U shaped seating around the table and the food was top quality. You need to book in advance, as there were only two of us we squeezed in to a 7:15 slot so you need to plan ahead. The bar is also great for us slightly older, more sophisticated people who still have a bit of life left in us. The beer and cocktails were great. We had a truly wonderful evening. The restaurant was full of groups of ladies, my girlie friends and I would love this as a venue to meet up. Wish there was one close to me.

I was in last Monday and found this is a really good place to eat. I’ve got to say the service is brilliant. The staff are amazing and so are the food is great and drinks. I think if you keep up the act at the living room you will get great customers. I will be coming in more often. When you walk in, it’s a nice warm feeling, and you like it immediately. The atmosphere is nice and cosy.
