The Lonsdale opened its doors in 2002 and is an exceptional combination of a lounge restaurant and an award winning cocktail bar. The trendy lighting and cosy seating breathes sophistication and it has managed to establish itself as both a comfortable and phenomenal venue.

Modern flavours are the order of the day and the menu runs from easy nibbles like marinated and roasted Tamworth pork ribs, to gastronomic delights like roast rack of lamb with sweet potato and coriander purée. Beef is supplied by Allens of Mayfair, Britain's oldest butcher and the steaks arrive with a choice of peppercorn, béarnaise, grain mustard or blue cheese sauce. Desserts stay in the comfort zone so expect to see a sticky toffee pudding, banoffee pie or crème caramel.

Lonsdale is keen to celebrate the history of cocktails in Britain and so among contemporary classics and exciting new creations, try the Elderflower Martini or the Raspberry Mule.
