Since about 1980 the Kong family have been supplying Chinese food to a grateful clientele in Cheltenham. Why are they so happy? Because value and quality are the watchwords at this jolly Chinese restaurant, where the mother and son run the kitchen between them. The repertoire is not startling original, but familiar to fans of the genre, running from excellent spare ribs through the usual standards of Pekingese, Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine. We eat at The Mayflower Restaurant regularly and it’s wonderful. The high quality food is excellent and service is friendly. It’s is our very favourite eating place and we would recommend it.

Have been eating here for several years. Always nice, happy, good service! Really nice food! Best in Gloucestershire in my opinion! Really worth a visit.
