Situated on Salusbury Road, just a short hop from Queens Park tube is the timeless gastro pub known as Montrose. Soft yellow hues and bare wooden tables and chairs dominate the décor, whilst the walls sport rather amusing pictures. Here you'll find a warm and friendly vibe in which to enjoy a drink or two, making it the perfect place to meet up and chill out with friends. There's also a rather fine selection of modern British classics on their well-chosen menu at prices that represent pretty good value for money and change on a regular basis to encourage you to return, as if any encouragement was actually needed.
