The Olive Shed is a charming Mediterranean-style restaurant situated on the waterfront of Bristol's harbour side with wonderful views over the river. During summer you can enjoy the spectacular views from the open, glass fronted dining area or the rustic outside seating in the herb garden. Winters see it transforming into an intimate and cosy venue ideal for candlelit dinners. The thoughtfully sourced ingredients and wine includes local and organic produce wherever possible.

The menu includes a large tapas section such as sardines marinated in harissa, King prawn and chorizo skewers, mini peppers stuffed with marinated feta and that great Spanish dish, albondigas, meatballs in spicy tomato sauce, these are offered in the companionable style as sharing platters. Bouillabaise, summer salads and genuinely interesting vegetarian and vegan options follow on; most meat and fish dishes can be found on the specials board, examples are whole wild sea bass with crushed new potatoes and olive, caper and balsamic onion salad or organic chicken poached in white wine and tarragon with saute potatoes and spinach, while 8oz local rib eye steak with stilton sauce, blush tomato and hand cut chips is always popular.
