The Palm Court
The Ritz Hotel, 150 Piccadilly, London, W1J 9BR
A British institution in itself, Tea at The Ritz is proud to be a member of the Tea Council's prestigious Tea Guild. Served in the spectacular Palm Court, a choice of several varieties of tea, finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream and a range of delicate pastries, combine to make for an unforgettable afternoon. The luxurious and graceful setting of The Ritz Palm Court is legendary and this is most certainly an opportunity that must be experienced, whether you are visiting London or already live there. Please note that, befitting the elegant style of The Ritz, the staff requires that you observe a formal dress code in the public areas of the hotel and restaurant.Café

REVIEWS OF The Palm Court
Stuart (16 March 2010)
Booked Afternoon Tea for two via the online booking system. Smart dress code applies so jacket and tie for men, they do uphold this as we saw people turned away. Ladies wore suits or tea dresses. You are shown to your table & given the afternoon tea menu for your choice of tea. A 3-tiered plate is brought to you, the top tier full of dainty cakes, middle tier empty for scones to arrive later and the bottom a full set of sandwiches, two salmon, two chicken, two ham, two cucumber and two egg. Dont be perturbed by the small size of the sandwiches & cakes as they come round asking if you want more sandwiches & the cakes are quiet rich, especially the chocolate one. The pianist takes requests, he was very good. Go on treat yourself, its worth every penny.
