Anna's Tea, named for the 7th Duchess of Bedford who is widely credited with inventing afternoon tea, includes a choice of finger sandwiches, plain and fruit scones served with clotted cream and strawberry jam as well as cream puffs and French pastries. This can be accompanied by a choice of teas or even a glass of champagne. The menu also includes a traditional West Country cream tea as well as a gluten free variant. The selection of teas includes classic Earl Grey, Assam and Ceylon varieties as well as a number of herbal and fruit infusions. The menu also includes an extensive range of more exotic ritual teas from the Far East including flowering jasmine, Long Jing green tea and the intriguing Fairy Ladies Golden Ring tea.
