We had a delightful restaurant meal in this beautiful pub - so much so that it has compelled me to write this review! Really wonderful Sunday roast lunch - exceptional quality for a set menu price of £11.00 / £16.00 / £19.00. The home made puddings were exceptional, the duck egg starter was a delight. Service was personal, unobtrusive and outstanding. Five delicious fresh tasty vegetables to accompany a choice of three roast meats, delicious roast potatoes, large home made Yorkshire and rich beef bone gravy as well as a fish option which was a fish stew of four different types of fish topped with a langistine and a veggie option. We will be returning for more for many more weeks to come.

I fully recommend this pub/ restaurant. I and my husband had a gorgeous roast lunch on Sunday so much so that we have booked our return again this week. Roast lamb, beef and pork were available as well as sea bass and goat cheese vegetarian tart. The quality was outstanding for all three courses offered. Dining was such a pleasure, relaxed and pleasant service. My hats off to them!
