The Pink Giraffe describes itself as an Oriental Seafood and Vegetarian Restaurant, a very apt description for a restaurant that leans over backwards to accommodate most tastes, particularly vegetarian and vegan interests which, even in these enlightened times occasionally remain neglected. Despite, or perhaps because of this, the range of dishes is wide, including the mock crispy duck with pancakes, definitely a first for many.

The restaurant is well loved for its 'Eat all you can' menu, with an option on a second run when you complete the first round. I am told not too many make it that far, and certainly the portions are generous. Special praise is reserved for the vegan special fried rice, with the mock crispy duck, chicken, pork, beef and ham content.

Service can sometimes be a touch erratic and this seems to depend upon the presence or otherwise of large parties.
