The Plas Restaurant is situated on the High Street of the historic coastal town of Harlech, and is run by Paul and Julia McAdams who have more than thirty years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. Visit the elegant restaurant or conservatory and take advantage of the most spectacular views of Royal St. David's Golf Course across the bay to the Llyn Peninsular. The lunchtime menu comprises of freshly baked baguettes with assorted fillings such as prawns, stir fried beef and onions and Welsh cheddar cheese. Lighter options include homemade soups, smoked mackerel and gravadlax. The evening menus are changed regularly to make full use of local, seasonal ingredients whenever possible.
The Plas opens daily, all year serving light lunches and cream teas in the conservatory or on the terrace. The restaurant is open only at weekends in the winter months.

We ate on two separate evenings in early September. The views from the Plas are stunning, especially on the evening of a sunset over the Llyn Peninsular. The hosts were welcoming , the food well prepared and served in an historical building with atmospheric lighting and decoration with Table D'Hote and A La carte as choices. Most appreciated was the excellent variety of local vegetables and choice of wines. There is also a good vegetarian choice. It’s better to book, but if you want to sample before you book, just try the lunchtime menu!

What a wonderful restaurant! Julia and Anna accommodated us despite a sold out evening. We sought out the restaurant based on its international reputation of exquisite food. The restaurant offers an incredible view of Royal St. Davids Golf Course and the Irish Sea. The food and ambience were also exquisite. We want to thank the Chef, server Angelica and everyone involved in making it a wonderful evening. I would recommend this restaurant for its accommodating staff, ambience, outstanding menu, and wine list.
