REVIEWS OF The Rising Sun Inn

622billy (9 October 2010)

The best local pub and restaurant in this area! Set on its own, a couple of miles out of Altarnun, it serves beer from the local micro-brewery and other Cornish ales. Food is locally sourced and simply prepared, eating is allowed either in the bar or restaurant. Special menus can be arranged with the chef as I did last year for a family birthday. An excellent seven course tasting menu cost £35 per head and received rave reviews from all who attended. Great place aided by the open fires and real country pub ambiance.
