The Scullery, themed on an 18th century home kitchen, is an informal restaurant at the luxury country house hotel, Lime Wood, located in the heart of The New Forest, Hampshire. The simple yet evocative setting includes painted wooden floors, communal tables and panelled walls brimming with pots of forest chutneys and pickles. The main focus of the room is a large central open fireplace that's often brought into play for roasting meat using the 'a la ficelle' French technique of cooking over burning wood.

Firmly rooted on countryside cooking, the changing menu at The Scullery centres on local and fresh produce in every season, whilst preparations are top notch. Think forest mushroom minestrone or potted beef and oxtail jelly to pave the way for hearty dishes like a mixed grill of pork chop, kidney, steak, liver, tomatoes, and sautéed potatoes or lighter ones such as poached fish with wilted spinach, olive oil and lemon.
