This was our first visit, we booked for 6pm and received a very warm reception from the staff. Service and quality of food could not be faulted, and even when it got busier later on the service did not suffer. We managed to get the last bit of venison on the special menu which was a bonus! Despite the fact that there were a lot of local regulars, we didn’t feel left out and were not treated any differently, and that's a definite plus. Good value at just under £50 for 2 people on 3 courses.
