Located in picturesque Somerset countryside, Ston Eastern Park Hotel is a beautiful country house hotel in a Grade I listed Palladian mansion that has been carefully restored to its former glory. Housed within it is the Sorrel Restaurant, a beautifully elegant dining space, with simple and understated furnishings, grand curtained windows and stunning views of the hotel's 36 acres of rolling parklands. The varied menu reflects the same attention to detail and offers traditional British cuisine with subtle modern influences prepared from the finest ingredients, including produce sourced from their own Victorian kitchen gardens.

The menu features plates of quail ad haricot blanc with roasted filberts and Alsace bacon, and torchon of foie gras with maple, watercress and damsons for starters. Mains comprise English rosé veal loin with roasted scorzonera, girolles and almond purée and line caught bass, sauté baby squid and crisp sweetbreads, with pak choi and candy beetroot. Tempting desserts of Bramley apple parfait, Muscat wine and blackcurrant soufflé or mille-fueille of hazelnuts and butterscotch will satisfy diners with a sweet tooth.

The wine list includes fine wines and vintage bottles from around the world as well as champagnes available by the glass, all carefully selected to enhance any meal.
