The Thai House

63 Notte Street, The Barbican, Plymouth, PL1 2AG

A warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere await guests who visit The Thai House in Plymouth, not to mention good authentic food. All these are factors which have seen this venue voted as the best Thai restaurant in Devon. The interior uses light wood furniture and is dotted with plants, while walls feature some traditional paintings. The kitchen understands that China, Portugal, India, France, and Japan are just some of the countries that have helped make Thai cuisine what it is today. Much of its appeal is due to the extraordinary way it's managed to absorb these influences whilst maintaining its own distinct identity. Thai curries, as would be expected are on the carte whilst other favourites could include stir-fried chicken with red curry paste, mange tout and baby corn, and prawns fried with sliced pepper, onion, garlic and fresh red pepper.

REVIEWS OF The Thai House

Onbusiness (26 October 2010)

I took a chance when I was here on business and was not disappointed! Great food and service! Would highly recommend!

Anon (9 October 2007)

I love the place. My hubby and I are regulars and we always arrive at 6 pm, no reservation, spur of the moment, and are treated like friends. The food is awesome, I’m vegetarian, but have as much choice as my non vegetarian hubby. Try the shared vegetable starter, it’s the best. You won’t be disappointed.
