Set high on the cliffs at Whitsand Bay, part of the stunning Rame peninsular in South East Cornwall, The View is a modern and simple restaurant. Its simple style allows the full appreciation of of the breathtaking views, which on a clear day extend along the Cornish coast as far as Goonhilly on the Lizard. This restaurant is the culmination of the dreams of three AA rosettes award winning chef Matt, and Rachael Corner. The culinary techniques are simple and clean, with an emphasis on the main ingredient cooked precisely. Another feature is the display of the works by local artists. The menu changes daily with seafood in the limelight during spring and summer while more meat dishes play the main role during other seasons.

Expect to find dishes such as roast celeriac soup with horseradish cream, Gressingham duck breast with apple, fennel and pomegranate reduction and lemon sole, prawn, garlic and parsley butter. Hot chocolate mousse with vanilla ice cream and selection of West Country cheeses feature among desserts.
