The Vine Restaurant

The Best Western Red Lion Hotel, Milford Street, Salisbury, SP1 2AS

The Vine Restaurant in Milford Street promises a treat for the senses as well as the palate. Located at the Best Western Red Lion Hotel, once a coaching inn and featuring an intriguing mixture of architectural styles, it's where one can enjoy quality cuisine in a beautiful and historic ambience. Dine in the restaurant's conservatory with its relic of a ‘wattle and daub’ wall dating back to 1220. Or, weather permitting, enjoy alfresco dining in the Courtyard while admiring the fine specimen of a Virginia creeper, believed to be 300 years old. Head Chef Jamie Holmes and his team produce their creations using fresh local produce. A meal here can include dishes such as roasted chorizo with free range chicken and coriander tian, English asparagus salad with soft poached local duck egg, pork tenderloin with parmesan mashed potatoes, pan fried salmon with stir fried bok choy and rhubarb crumble with warm vanilla custard.
