This pub has a relaxed atmosphere. The members of staff were courteous and professional and the service was no nonsense. There are a couple of traditional ales on offer among the usual well-known lagers and the food was much better than average pub fare and at a reasonable price. The vegetables served with the mains were fresh and firm, not over cooked.
