All roasts are served with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and rich pan gravy and include pork cutlet and breast of chicken. More comfort fare in the form of Proctors sausages and mash with beer and shallot gravy, home cooked steak and ale pie and calves liver and smoked bacon with fried onions adds to the festive air. Guests can also choose from chicken liver pâté, smoked salmon, char grilled tuna steak with Provencal sauce, Aberdeen Angus burger and fresh tagliatelle with wild mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. Puddings of baked rhubarb and stem ginger fool, baked cheesecake or Eton mess bring the meal to a fitting end.
