Soft boiled duck eggs with ciabatta soldiers and grilled fresh kippers with parsley butter and lemon are some inspiring breakfast choices, and at lunchtime focus on an open tart of baby artichokes, grilled rib eye of Kettyle Irish beef and strawberry iced parfait with basil meringue. A Cornish crab salad with saffron mayonnaise and avocado puree is a good way to start the evening, followed by poached Scottish salmon or rack of lamb for Lighthorne. A selection of Winter Garden's à la carte favourites include fruit de mer, Caesar salad with grilled tiger prawns, cod and chips, gourmet club sandwich and sticky toffee pudding to finish.
