Three Main Street Description
As a fan I am able to speak with a total and unconvincing lack of bias about Three Main Street. Take a fine Georgian town house and adapt its small rooms into a series of experiences to create somewhere special. Jennifer and Rob took over in the middle of 2007. Since then they have undertaken a programme of refurbishment starting with the restaurant, both inside and out, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere for up to 36 diners. At the moment it is open Monday to Saturday evenings, although they intend to open at lunchtimes in the future. Meals are currently served from 6pm.
Gloriously fresh fish is a speciality. They offer modern British cooking, true to the quality of the locally sourced seasonal produce; the lamb comes from the Preselli hills, beef is from Pembrokeshire and the fish is delivered daily from Milford Haven. Do try their range of Welsh cheeses produced by Caws Cenarth, an award winning local cheese producer. An admirable establishment - but then I did warn you.

JJJVC (17 September 2008)
While on holiday in Lower Town we decided to book ahead to ensure that we get a table. As a bunch of brummy foodies, we were delighted by what was produced from the kitchen. Clear impressive flavours from the outstanding local produce. The front of house was a delight. A wonderful evening at prices that do justice to this style of high-end cooking and presentation – it’s highly recommended.
John and Rosie, Mid Wales (12 August 2008)
We completely agree with Martin, Sussex, that this is the best restaurant in Fishguard. We received a very warm welcome into this pleasantly relaxing venue; the decor and lighting was just right. We were impressed after we were given small tasters of delicious tapenade and gazpacho whilst we waited for our orders to be cooked. We did not have to wait long before our beautifully cooked and presented meals arrived. One of us had lamb roulade and the other lentil and chick pea rissoles - both excellent. The portions were just the right and we were able to enjoy a lemon tart and a selection of four locally made cheese. Why this restaurant is not full every night, we cannot understand.
