Visiting my sister in Longridge, my wife and I found Thyme and decided to have lunch. How lucky we were, the staff were lovely, great wine and outstanding food, and at very reasonable prices. We were so impressed that we decided to visit again for dinner at our earliest opportunity, which we did last week-end. The visit was even better. Head Chef and owner Alex Coward must be congratulated in finding and training a kitchen brigade and waiting staff of the highest calibre and providing food of a very high standard in a relaxing atmosphere. It’s fantastic, and a pleasure to visit.

We arrived late for our booking but were made to feel completely at ease. Even though the kitchen needed to close to prepare for the evening they produced a wonderful meal of our choice for lunch. Recommended a terrific wine and the staff served us with a smile. Well done.
