Vegetarianism is back with a vengeance and this time with a fresh approach. Thanks to places like Tibits, an all-day restaurant and bar with 'food to go', diners can now plump for their favourite veggie dishes at both their Heddon Street and Westfield outlets. The fashionable interior designed by Tricia Guild of The Designers' Guild and tidily stacked tables lend a plush and airy feel.

The focal point of this place is a giant food boat containing a selection of 50 hot and cold dishes where diners could choose what they want and pay by weight. Using seasonal and organic ingredients, the menu is influenced by a wide variety of cuisines, from Asian and Indian to Mediterranean. So whether it's an early morning coffee, a breakfast buffet and freshly squeezed juices, through to late evening with an extensive range of cocktails, wines and beers, Tibits does its bit to thwart all pre-conceived notions that healthy food cannot be delicious.
