Timo Restaurant
343 Kensington High Street, London, W8 6NW
Situated at the Olympia end of Kensington High Street is Timo, an elegant and modern Italian restaurant. Here the emphasis is on good quality produce and talented chefs, who are producing Italian dishes that are rather more innovative than is the norm in London. Head Chef Franco Gatto and his team have intelligently designed a very typical Italian menu, keeping seasonality in mind. To begin you could consider the likes of tuna tartar with cucumber and crispy vegetables, grilled calamari with rocket, and wild chicory salad with anchovies, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Follow with red tagliolini cooked with seven fresh herbs, artichokes and a touch of garlic and chilli or ravioli filled with aubergine, goats' cheese and ricotta with butter, sage and walnuts.Situated at the Olympia end of Kensington High Street is Timo, an elegant and modern Italian restaurant. A wine list representing most regions in Italy, might create a moment of indecisiveness, yet there's nothing to worry about, as proprietor Piero Amodio will recommend only the best to complement your meal.
