Tinello

87 Pimlico Road, London, SW1W 8PH

A fine dining restaurant run by celebrated chef and brothers, Federico and Max Sali, Tinello is an Italian eatery whose name can be loosely translated into a 'home kitchen'. Located in Pimlico Road, the restaurant features a cuisine that is distinctly Italian and reflecting the flavours of Tuscany, with the ambience adding to the entire dining experience. The dining area has a bar at one end, exposed brick walls and tables lit with low dramatic lamps, creating a very minimalist feel and emphasising the fare served. The menu consists of a mix of traditional and modern recipes, made with a number of locally sourced ingredients that are as fresh as they are wholesome. Starting with appetizers of impepata di cozze, steamed mussels in chilli and garlic, and carciofi fritti, a dish of deep fried baby artichokes, diners can move on to antipasto della casa, a mixed antipasto, ricotta and spinach gnudi, with walnut sauce and parmesan or char-grilled baby chicken with lemon, spinach and fried courgettes.

The wine list, overseen by Max features an intriguing variety of Italian fine wines, champagnes and other spirits that are eclectic and affordable.
