The nice thing about Tinker's in Croydon is that it is a family run restaurant where guests are treated like extended members and there's a sense of cosy friendliness in the atmosphere. The best thing about Tinker's, however, is the food, which is prepared freshly using the best seasonal produce to create delicious and sumptuous European cuisine. The décor is simple and unpretentious but the overall effect is that of a friendly and welcoming dining room.

Probably something from the daily specials might be to your liking, although you could also choose from their a la carte, dishes like confit of duck and mushroom terrine with cherry compote, for starters. Follow this with char grilled fillet steak with peppercorn sauce, grilled tomato and fine beans or maybe the lemon sole on a crab mash served with asparagus and roe butter before ending with a luscious dessert from their assortment of homemade delights.
