Let your imagination run riot as you step into the interiors of Tipsy Teapot with detailed murals of landscapes and seas that take you into a world beyond. The quirky interior evokes curiosity as the dining area is filled with antiques and knick-knacks. It's amazing to note how the owners have transformed this Grade II listed property believed to be approximately three-hundred years old. Head Chef Joanne Dempsey brings over twenty years of experience in the catering trade and prefers to keep things original with dishes such as grilled goats' cheese with chorizo and pine nut salad; pan-fried calves liver with creamed potatoes, and lemon brûlée tart with a Grand Marnier syrup.Let your imagination run riot as you step into the interiors of Tipsy Teapot with detailed murals of landscapes and seas that take you into a world beyond. Head Chef Joanne Dempsey brings over twenty years of experience in the catering trade and prefers to keep things original with dishes such as grilled goats' cheese with chorizo and pine nut salad; pan-fried calves liver with creamed potatoes, and lemon brûlée tart with a Grand Marnier syrup. The light bites menu available during lunchtime and evenings features salads, omelettes and snacks amongst other favourites like moules mariniéres and beer battered cod and chips.
A giant terracotta style pot, complete with a table and cushions in the tiny hidden courtyard garden with a water feature accentuates the jungley appeal.

REVIEWS OF Tipsy Teapot
Deborah (21 June 2011)
We booked Jenny and her team to lay on the catering for a private 70th birthday garden party recently. They provided everything, from garden furniture to crockery, cutlery, glasses, table cloths etc. The dressed tables looked very pretty. A superb cold buffet was laid on followed by desserts to die for. All of our guests were very complimentary of not only the excellent food but also the great service. I therefore would urge anyone looking for caterers to contact Jenny as I am sure you would not be disappointed. Many thanks Jenny and Adam for a superb day and I am sure it was your positive attitude that frightened those prevailing rain clouds away!
Donna (Hen Party) (23 May 2011)
We had a hen party of thirteen, on Saturday in May 2011. We had the most fabulous night. Jenny made us feel very welcome and she put an excellent room on for us - beautifully decorated. The bride-to-be was blown away as were all of her hens. The food and the drink were all excellent - we laughed so much. Jenny - you have the most wonderful place. I will be back to eat again and we would all like to send you a massive thank you, you started a great evening! Many thanks.
