Titchwell Manor Restaurant Description

There is something strangely satisfying about being able to sit in this comfortable hotel and look out over the marshland towards the waters where what you are then eating may well have swum, grazed or flown. Call it primeval if you will. Pot-roasted pheasant, breast of pigeon, whitebait, mussels (tossed in chilli), oysters from Morston and crab from Brancaster, all cooked with care, precision and imagination, are staple fare. On Sundays bar food is also available at lunchtime, followed perhaps by a penitential stroll round the nearby wildlife sanctuary. House wine is on offer at £12.50, with an attractive wine list that circles the world quite well.
