Tom Browns Brasserie Description

Tom Browns Brasserie is situated next to the River Trent in Gunthorpe, Nottingham; it is a friendly, family run business with a very decent standard of food and service.

The no-smoking restaurant boasts a mezzanine floor area with wonderful river views. In January 2005, they added a brand new lounge bar, which is not only light and airy, but is also the perfect setting to relax in, either before or after a meal. In the summer months, there is also an outdoor wooden-decked, seating area, over-looking the River Trent, where you can eat, drink and watch the world go by.

Your Reviews of Tom Browns Brasserie

DG (2 September 2008)

I went to Tom Browns with high expectations after being recommended. The food was distinctly average and the service was chaotic to say the least. We were hurried through the courses at breakneck speed as if the place was on fire. Coffee was brought to the table three times before dessert had even arrived. It would have helped if only one person had served us instead of the four different people who came to the table. I won't be returning.

I love dining at Tom Browns Brasserie. The stylish setting, lounge bar music, the stunning menu and good food compelled me to write this review. I dine out a lot as I live in London, so expectations are high. The level of service and value for money is commendable and I can't wait to go back.
