Torna Sorrento Description
Their lunch special is only £4.95 for pizza or pasta and garlic bread, while pre-theatre is £7.95 for two courses, which includes sea bass, chicken and more. The a la carte ranges from £6 for a pizza to £18 for a delicious Smittons Farm fillet steak.
They genuinely love having children in the restaurant and cater for them very well; they have a special menu, £3.95, if they don't like anything on that they can pick something off the main menu and they also have colouring books and toys to keep them amused.
They can cater for large parties of up to sixty for any sort of event, from weddings to anniversaries.
The contemporary surroundings make it a very relaxing experience, while no request is too much for their friendly staff. They always say that they like to get to know their customers and as a result many have become friends.

Wellington Church International Welcome Club (24 March 2008)
I took my staff to Torna Sorrento for a Christmas lunch and The International Welcome Club which I help organise, uses the restaurant for take-away and authentic Italian pizza for our cèilidh nights. Since cèilidh is a Scottish family party with food, music and dancing, we require good food to keep the energy going. Mario was kind enough to agree to make us pizza on our first cèilidh evening last year, even although he had a busy restaurant to attend to. He has continued supporting our club since then by providing an excellent variety of pizzas at an affordable price for many poor students. The Christmas lunch was a delight. Everyone was satisfied - including the vegetarians and others with strict religious dietary requirements. The atmosphere is welcoming and good value for money.
Ranald (26 November 2007)
It’s an unpretentious restaurant, which I was very impressed with. The staff were friendly, efficient, and were good at recommending things. I had an excellent starter of sautéed king prawns on rocket, it was very tasty. The main was sea bass, which was not only very well done, but very reasonably priced. I finished with homemade bread and butter pudding and an amaretto. Great food, fantastic value, welcoming staff! Thumbs up, all round.
