Great food and beverage. Pub and well decorated restaurant in same building. Unique menu with game often on the list. At the end of the earth - down a small lane, we only found it with locals - but well worth the "hunt"!!

Wonderful ambience, friendly and efficient service, fabulous and imaginative food. Coming from Manchester we are spoilt with great places to eat - The Travellers is well worth the trip north though and although Dalton is slightly off the beaten track - it is close to Richmond and Barnard Castle both a delight to visit and stay in.
