Treasury Bar Restaurant, The

Set in a former nineteenth century converted city treasury building The Treasury Bar and Restaurant has, over time, become a safe and stylish place to dine and entertain. During weekends, DJs and dancing take over, which, along with the premium range of beers, cocktails and wines, make it a hot clubbing destination.

The tapas menu includes dishes such as whole baked maple camembert with home made bread for dipping and fresh pan-seared tiger prawns cooked with garlic and chilli. Options for main course may include creamy wild mushroom, asparagus and artichoke risotto topped with parmesan shavings and confit of duck leg cooked in its own juices with creamed bacon and spring onion mash and a red wine and thyme jus. A traditional banoffee pie, biscuit base with toffee filling and a layer of fresh banana topped generously with fresh cream and served with fresh berries and a rich chocolate sauce will end your meal on a sweet note.
