Trongs Description
Located on St Nicholas Street, Ipswich, Trongs is a fantastic Chinese restaurant which brings the flavours of the Orient into Suffolk effortlessly and with much flair. Friendly and unpretentious, this charming eatery is popular with locals and visitors who feel that it's a real find because of its efficient service and delicious fare. Cheerful and friendly, it's the ideal place for a spot of lunch with friends or an intimate dinner with someone special.
Trongs manages to strike the right balance between elitist and laidback with ease, so you can walk the trodden path and choose well loved favourites or venture into unfamiliar areas and become a little more adventurous. Some of their mouth watering fare includes seafood dishes, spring rolls, wan tuns, beef with chilli and crispy duck. The wine list is extensive but they also have bottled beers for those who prefer.

They have first class food, service, restaurant, and style. The food was cooked to absolute perfection and is a must try. I give it a 10/10.

Trong's has long been my favourite restaurant in the whole of Ipswich - the owner is incredibly friendly, and remembers who you are even if you haven't been to the restaurant in a while. The service is impeccable, the food is amazing, and the restaurant's atmosphere is brilliant. The fact that it is almost always bursting at the rafters with diners is proof enough that Trong's delivers what it promises in spades. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
