Although Tryst Restaurant and Bar seems rather perfect for a romantic rendezvous as the name suggests, it's also a very pleasant dining destination for a family meeting or large gathering. The modern European cuisine is prepared with a lot of care, and the seasonally changing menu uses only fresh ingredients. Live music from the baby grand piano, soothing décor and the friendly service combine to create a delightful atmosphere.

Lunch follows a more café style menu where you could opt for salads, baguettes, pastas and burgers or a more conventional mushroom fricassee on toasted garlic crouton followed by gammon steak with crushed new potatoes and black pudding. From the à la carte, you could select starters of smoked roasted salmon and main course of char grilled lamb rump with pomme puree and roasted plums in honey. A raspberry crème brûlée ends the meal with panache and the global wine list offers something for every pocket and taste.
