This lovely 16th century manor house is close enough to the M25 to be convenient, but in terms of timescale you are in a different world. The high beamed ceiling at the Tudors Restaurant creates a majestic appearance and the atmosphere wears the look of serenity. It comes as no surprise that the restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes but wait till you hear about the dishes on offer.

The cooking is truly international in its approach with strong Asian accents thrown in. There are extensive carte or fixed price menus available and the choice might include pan-fried foie gras, scallop and lobster wasabi, John Dory squid ink tempura and marinated pork fillet. Desserts demonstrate real innovation with rhubarb sushi and white chocolate pannacotta with blueberry posset and white chocolate ice cream.

The wine list is drawn from all major sources from across the globe and there are plenty of half bottle selections as well.
