Tuk Tuk Thai Description

Not much chance of missing Tuk Tuk as you perambulate down Charminster Road, with its bright blue décor and generous name sign. Within Tai and Steve offer authentic Thai cuisine at very fair prices. I am always fascinated by Thai seafood dishes so it would have to be Kung po for me, tiger prawns marinated with garlic, ground black pepper and coriander, grilled and served with a sweet chilli sauce. The Panang curry is particularly flavoursome for a seasoned curry addict - pork, beef or prawns, very dry and aromatic with red curry paste, coconut cream and Thai basil. Service is good and there is the usual range of decent beers, both bottled and draught. This is Thai hospitality as it should be.

The food is perfect, good fast service and the open timings is clearly stated, if you want to have a look. This is definitely the best Thai restaurant in the south for my friends and me.

I have not yet eaten at Tuk Tuk Thai, because when I try to ring and book the phone is never answered. Also the opening and closing times are not clear as to when they are open throughout the week; not a very good start.
