Tumeric Gold was recommended to me by a number of people. Although the ambiance is very nice, the food or service was nothing spectacular. On entrance it was pretty obvious they wanted us to leave soon and even worked out, within earshot, what time our table would be vacant. It was Valentine’s night and I expect they were due to be extremely busy, however, I thought that this was very rude. There was a gentleman playing a traditional Indian string instrument, which I thought was nice touch but in a nutshell although the food is not horrid, it is much overpriced for the small portions that they give you. The curries did not have much meat and the rice was a very small portion. You may find less expensive curry houses just as good within a couple of miles radius, however, it is horses for courses so I think you will need to try for yourself and make your own decision.
