Walking into the restaurant is like stepping back into 1950s New York, from the clatter and chatter of the open kitchen to the bottle lined bar. Walls with black and white family photographs showing life in Brooklyn's 'Little Italy' surround cosy booth seating and tables. Combined with the classic music of the fifties, a mix of American swing and beat, they definitely provide a fun and friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy.

The bar serves a wide range of beers, wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks.
Start with sticky wings, crispy coated chicken strips, tiger prawn skewer or Frankie's fried calamari and if you are dining in a group choose the giant sampler platter. The pastas, calzone and pizzas are all made freshly on order. An interesting dish on the menu is a the Boston 7 speciality pizza fully loaded with slices of pork meatballs, spicy pepperoni, ham, crispy bacon, chicken, peppers and red onion, served on a BBQ sauce base. They also serve a variety of sandwiches and burgers throughout the day.
A good value lunch menu is available on weekdays from 11am until 5pm offering a range of popular dishes from the main carte with one course at £5.95, two courses at £7.95 and three courses at £8.95.
For children up to the age of eleven, an all-inclusive menu features a selection of main courses, desserts and drinks starting at £3.95. As an added treat, they'll also receive an activity pack to entertain them whilst you eat.

Restaurant at The George Hotel
High Street, Buckden, St Neots, PE19 5XA [Map]
After a complete refurbishment and re-launch in March 2004, The George Hotel and Brasserie has thoroughly energized the village of Buckden with its promising chef, bustling wine bar and entertainment in High Street. A slice of London in an otherwise sober village, this vibrant and chic boutique hotel has impressed more than just locals and tourists and bagged a host of awards including an AA Rosette for the years 2007 - 2008 and 2008 - 2009. It is also the highest AA rated hotel in the area and has charmed its way into the Good Hotel Guide 2009.
Head Chef Ray Smikle believes that dining out should be delicious and entertaining and the menu perfectly reflects that, with dishes that never go out of fashion, prepared well and presented creatively. Begin with Dorset crab or duck rilette, followed by teriyaki marinated old spot pork belly with rocket and parmesan salad for sides and conclude with rhubarab pannacotta or vanilla bean crème brulée with shortbread. There is also a selection of cheeses, dessert wines and hot drinks on the menu. The service is excellent and the chef himself is often seen in conversation with guests, getting their feedback. The Restaurant at The George Hotel is excellent for fine dining and a dash of Ray Smikle.

Loch Fyne - Cambridge
Book37 Trumpington Street, Cambridge, CB2 1QY [Map]
Whilst the 42 Loch Fyne restaurants have a shared background there is a welcome degree of individuality encouraged throughout the group, which makes for customer interest. If you like wholesome, fresh and reliable seafood caught and reared under carefully controlled conditions, well presented in unfussy surroundings, and you enjoy being well looked after by pleasant staff, Loch Fyne is for you.
There is an increasing awareness of other food staples with an extended choice of meat dishes, but it is the original fare upon which their success was created that prevails. Loch Fyne kippers, a fine bouillabaisse, braden rost, kiln-roasted salmon fillet, and the toothsome oysters on ice, with a selection of accompaniments, all are to be found throughout the various restaurants, as well as Glen Fyne 21 day aged rib-eye steak and Scottish smoked venison. There is invariably a well-travelled wine list available which is sensible, both in content and prices.
Loch Fyne's greatest achievement has been to prove to a sceptical populace that chains or conglomerates can be made to work in the eating-out public's best interests.
