Restaurant 22

A pleasant terraced Victorian house, conveniently placed for the centre of Cambridge, with a green and salmon-pink dining room of intimate formality - all very smartly done. Every month there is a new four-course set price dinner menu, with an additional fish course for £6.

  • Address: 22 Chesterton Road, Cambridge, CB4 3AX (Map)
  • Cuisine(s): British, European, Modern European
  • Avg. Cost Per Head Lunch: N/A, Dinner: £36.00

Restaurant at Arundel House Hotel

A strikingly beautiful house overlooking the River Cam and open parkland. It is a short stroll across Jesus Green from the centre of Cambridge, but you'd never believe it. An elegant restaurant and bar provide the setting for a pleasant evening out.

  • Address: Chesterton Road, Cambridge, CB4 3AN (Map)
  • Cuisine(s): Modern British
  • Avg. Cost Per Head Lunch: N/A, Dinner: £32.00

Restaurant at Best Western Cambridge Quy Mill Hotel

A pleasant house converted from parts of the former Miller's old house. The approach here is what might be termed 'planned informal', and set amidst such bucolic surroundings it succeeds well. The menu is enterprising, without being flash, and matches the strategy.

  • Address: Newmarket Road, Stow-Cum-Quy, Cambridge, CB5 9AF (Map)
  • Cuisine(s): British
  • Avg. Cost Per Head Lunch: £25.00, Dinner: £32.00

Restaurant at Crown Lodge Hotel

Misguided and unfriendly folk tend to be scathing about the Fens. At first hearing an invitation to Welle Creek sounds rather like the location for a re-make of The Blair Project. Not a bit of it.

  • Address: Downham Road, Outwell, Wisbech, PE14 8SE (Map)
  • Cuisine(s): Modern British
  • Avg. Cost Per Head Lunch: N/A, Dinner: £35.00

Restaurant at Oliver's Lodge Hotel

Book Online

Oliver's Lodge occupies a converted Victorian mansion in the residential district of St. Ives, a historic riverside market town in Cambridgeshire. A delightful family-run hotel, the building also houses a real ale bar, an airy conservatory and a cosy candlelit restaurant which overlooks the attractive gardens.

  • Address: Needingworth Road, St Ives, nr Huntingdon, PE27 5JP (Map)
  • Cuisine(s): International
  • Avg. Cost Per Head Lunch: £20.00, Dinner: £39.00

Restaurant at The Bell Inn Hotel

It would be churlish indeed to omit mentioning what many mistakenly assume to be the home of the famous cheese of that name, nor is there the slightest intention to do so. The famed cheese was in fact first produced by the Housekeeper at Quenby Hall, one Mrs Beaumont, not far from Leicester.

  • Address: Great North Road, Stilton, nr Peterborough, PE7 3RA (Map)
  • Cuisine(s): British, French
  • Avg. Cost Per Head Lunch: £22.00, Dinner: £35.00

Restaurant at The Crown & Punchbowl

A 400-year old pub with accommodation that has stacks of charm, first rate food served in style, and is notable for its fresh fish; the antiquity of the Crown and Punchbowl is there for all to see, very East of England and giving that air of permanence that seems to grow out of the ground.

  • Address: High Street, Horningsea, Cambridge, CB5 9JG (Map)
  • Cuisine(s): English, European
  • Avg. Cost Per Head Lunch: £15.00, Dinner: £31.00

Restaurant at The Crown House
