Dining at Whitehall Hotel

This superbly restored Elizabethan manor house, not far from Stansted Airport, is a well-run, comfortable establishment meeting a great need. There is perhaps almost a touch too much concentration on the 'little niceties', but then who are we to be ungrateful? There is a great and genuine striving to make sure that everyone feels coddled.
